At Equine International, we value the support and trust of our donors and participants. To maintain transparency and fairness, we have outlined our refund policy below. Please read this carefully to understand your rights and options regarding refunds.
Donations
General Donations: Donations made to Equine International are non-refundable. These contributions are used to further our mission and fund ongoing programs and initiatives, such as equine welfare research, educational workshops, equine-assisted services, and community outreach programs.
Errors in Donation Amounts: If you believe a donation was made in error or an incorrect amount was processed, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction at [[email protected]]. We will review and address such requests on a case-by-case basis.
Event Registration Fees
Cancellation by Participant:
- If a participant cancels their registration for an event 60 days or more before the scheduled date, a full refund will be issued, minus any processing and admin fees (approx $60 USD).
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will be eligible for a 50% refund minus processing and admin fees (approx $60 USD).
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event are not eligible for a refund, except in cases of extraordinary circumstances such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events that prevent participation. These exceptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation by Equine International or Event Coordinators:
If Equine International or associated event coordinators cancel an event for any reason, participants will receive a full refund.
Online Program Fees
Fees paid for participation in online workshops, classes, or other virtual programs are not refundable, as these programs often involve upfront costs for materials, instructor preparation, and platform usage that cannot be recovered once the program is initiated.
Special Circumstances
In cases of extraordinary circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, health emergencies), refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at [[email protected]] to discuss your situation.

We aim to process all refund requests within 14 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
